Upcoming Workshops:

Acting Shakespeare 1 - This class will begin with a free workshop March 28th at 7pm. Meeting at the Laxalt Theater. The classes, conducted by Jon Lutz. Continuing for eight weeks and ending with a performance at the Laxalt Theater May the 23rd.

The Good Luck Macbeth Playwright Competition
We will be looking at all scripts - Comedy or Drama - Although the length should not exceed one hour. There are no requirements for character or setting, yet a good guideline would most likely be a small cast and simple setting. The parameters are left open for writer choice. The play will be opening for Tennessee Williams' play "Suddenly Last Summer" so the Playwriting Contest Committee will most likely be looking for the work which best balances with that play, yet ultimately the best work submitted will undoubtedly be the play selected.

Submissions are to be mailed to P.O. Box 2729 Reno, NV 89505. Submissions must include a cover letter, synopsis, page numbers, SASE (if you would like work returned), and the $25 submission fee. Submissions received after the May 31st deadline will not be considered.
