A Memorial - Staged Reading
by Jef Petersen
Sat January 17, 2026 @ 2:00 pm

A Memorial - One year after Jaymie’s passing, his ragtag chosen-family is gathering with his spouse, Stockard Channing Tatum O’Neal, to celebrate his life and hopefully speak with Jaymie from beyond the grave. As the spirit of Jaymie looks on, what should be an honoring of his life, erupts into ruthless hostilities, the likes of which are usually saved for those we regard as family.

The Sidhe
Fri February 13, 2026 - Sun March 01, 2026

In 1800s Ireland, the Cleary family are visited by a family friend named Jack Dunne, who specializes in the art of traditional Irish folklore. Upon noticing Bridget Cleary’s independence and her struggling marriage to Michael, he convinces Michael that Bridget has been replaced with a “sidhe” (pronounced “shee”) - an Irish fairy reminiscent of a witch, much to the horror of Bridget’s sister and children. This play is based on the historical account of Bridget Cleary’s accusation and blends fairy tales and folklore with historical events.

Ticket Rules

Thank you for supporting live art and local theatre with your purchase to Good Luck Macbeth Theatre Company! To ensure an optimal experience, we laid out a few guidelines full of quirky quips because we think we are funny...and who doesn’t enjoy some commentary while reading a bunch of rules and regulations.
  • Tickets are non-refundable

  • You may exchange tickets up to 48 hours before the show. There is a $3.00 fee per ticket being exchanged.

  • Please check your tickets...and then double check. This seems obvious, but there is nothing more tragic than excitedly arriving to the theatre, on a sold out performance, only to learn that your reservation was last week.

  • The house will open forty-five minutes before performance time, not a minute sooner but potentially five minutes later (we apologize in advance). At about one hour before performance time, you are more than welcome to enter the lobby to wait. Take a seat on our fashionable blue couch that we have named Cornelius.

  • Evening shows start at 7:30 pm, and Sunday matinees begin at 2 pm. We understand that life happens sometimes (traffic, duck parade, acts of God) and despite all your good intentions to arrive early, you don’t. Late seating will be at the discretion of the House Manager. Be advised, he’s a mean SOB and usually won’t do it. If you arrive after the show begins, GLM has the right to resell your tickets - without refunding you - and depending on availability, may not be able to honor your tickets toward a future performance. We will do our best, but there are no guarantees.

  • For our VIP Champagne Patrons, please be advised that our effervescent staff will end champagne service 5 minutes prior to curtains at both the first and second act of our shows.

  • Our theater is located in the blossoming urban neighborhood that is Midtown, so you know what that means...parking is not great. Please plan ahead to arrive on time (by that we actually mean early).

  • If a performance is sold out, you may arrive forty-five minutes before the show to be added to the waitlist. If seats are available, we will fill the theater with our waitlist patrons. Tickets will be $25 cash. Bring exact cash. Depending on the size of the waitlist, we may hold the house for 5-10 minutes as to not disturb patrons and the actors with waitlist seating. We always strive to start on time, but even Broadway productions hold from time to time.
